Police on Thursday donated a Locomotive Support Vehicle (LSV) to a
physically challenged person who aspires for qualifying KAS in
Baramulla. SSP Baramulla handed over the LSV to Irfan Ali Yatoo of
Pathanpora Khour (Sherabad) Pattan, Baramulla under its civic action
programme. “Irfan is suffering from Poliomyelitis rendering him
motionless. He has completed his BA and is presently preparing for KAS
examination. He was recommended by Baramulla police for assistance so
that his disability will not become a barrier for his career and
aspirations. The Director General of Police, J&K was kind enough to
sanction Rs 66,000 for purchasing LSV,” a police spokesman said in a
statement.
