With the shooting wrapped up, the makers of Vamsi Paidipally's much-awaited bilingual Oopiri, have now begun post-production work and are promoting the film in full swing. PVP Cinemas, the producers of Oopiri, have announced that the teaser of this Tamil-Telugu bilingual will be released on February 20.
A tale of the remarkable bond between a physically challenged person and an emotionally challenged one, Oopiri features Akkineni Nagarjuna and Karthi in lead roles.
While Nagarjuna plays a Quadriplegic patient in the film, Karthi plays his caretaker.
"After the stupendous success of Manam and Soggade Chinni Nayana, Nagarjuna comes in a totally different role. The superhit Awara combination of Karthi and Tamannah reunite again to recreate their magic on screen," the makers said in a statement.
Supported by Prakash Raj, Jayasudha, Ali, Kalpana and others, Oopiri has music by Gopi Sunder and PS Vinod handles the camera.
Vamsi and PVP cinemas have already announced that the audio launch of Oopiri will be held on February, while a worldwide theatrical release is slated for March 25.
